Had such a blast hiking into Jewel Basin with my dear friend Andrea and her sweet daughter Holly for a portion of Holly’s senior portraits. We went seeking wildflowers so had to get up out of the valley and what a great adventure it was. Jewel Basin is my home away from home so getting to spend time with these two amazing people in one of my very favorite places was perfection. I loved all the rocks, mountain waters, and flowers we found as well as all the crazy stories we were all able to share…it was the perfect evening away.
Holly has such a sweet spirit and is so fun and easy going. So glad I was able to capture her with her favorite 4 legged friend, Judge. My favorite part about him was whenever I would get Holly too far away he would cry until he could see her again…it was so cute. I think he is pretty protective of his human.
On our way out we were able to soak in an amazing Montana sunset, it was so pretty. Although we did cut it a little close and hiked the last mile or so by head lamp, singing to any predators that might be lurking in the woods and feeling thankful to have Judge along.
What an awesome evening with these amazing girls…thanks Andrea and Holly and I look forward to our next adventure … xoxo Shawna
